Musangsa continues to provide Zen training for an ever-growing community of international monks and nuns and practitioners from all over the world. To better service our programs, the temple has ongoing developments to increase facilities and improve amenities. Your support is most welcome and will greatly benefit all beings.
Land Fund

Musangsa is currently working to purchase additional land, next to and behind the Main Buddha Hall. This will ensure for, for the long term, a peaceful, and well-preserved surrounding, as well as more area for training
and educational facilities for Musangsa’s practicing community. We have successfully purchased a quarter of this piece, and continue our efforts to raise funds to purchase the entire lot.
We appeal for your generous support in the purchase of this land by one Pyong (3.3 Sq. m) parcels, each Pyong costing 200,000 won (USD 170). Your donation will support the continued efforts established by Zen Master Seung Sahn to spread the Dharma to all beings around the world.
The New International Kwan Um Zen Center

Musangsa is a non-profit religious organization, “Jae Dan Boep In,” in South Korea, and is supported by the generous donations of its members, practitioners, and friends. Since its founding in 2000, support over the years from the ten directions have made it possible to build the four temple structures: main Buddha hall, meditation hall building, dormitory building and the office building, as well as the purchase of property for the temple grounds and surrounding land.

Monastic Health Fund

These are donations that support the welfare of monks and nuns, including medical expenses for monks who meditate properly based on the Buddha’s original teachings. We hope that the foundation for Zen practice will be strengthened by supporting monasteries dedicated to the preservation and teaching of the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha.
