Seung Sahn International zen center Musangsa is open to anybody who seeks true meaning of life and its direction disregarding race, religion, nationality and age. Musangsa walks together with you on the Boddhisattva path. Through practicing with us, you will be able to find your true self and help your neighbors, society and whole world with your compassionate mind.

Musangsa Dae Jeon International Meditation Center

Musangsa has opened a meditation center in Daejeon.

  • Musangsa Daejeon International Meditation Center offers meditation practice in the mornings and evenings, please check the schedule below. Anyone who is interested in Meditation Practice is welcome to come, free of charge. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the event. (Please check the Schedule below).
  • Morning practice begins at 5:40 AM to 7:00AM. Evening practice begins at 7:00 PM to 8:30PM
  • We offer Beginners’ Class for 4 weeks from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. The Beginners’ Class is only for those who register.
  • Every 2nd Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., there is a one-day Meditation retreat. It is only available to applicants who have registered beforehand.
  • We hope you will start and end your day with meditation at the Musangsa Daejeon International Meditation Center.

We welcome all of you to our morning and afternoon Zen practice. There’s no need to sign up.

Beginners’ Class – 4 Weeks Schedule

  • 1 week – Why do we sit? (Registered participants)
  • 2 week – Why do we bow? (Registered participants)
  • 3 week – Why do we chanting? (Registered participants)
  • 4 week – Meditation, Dharma Talk, Q&A with Teacher (Registered participants)

On the second Saturday of every month we hold a one-day meditation retreat from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
