Hwadu Practice

Hwadu practice is the practice of the Big Question—a question with no answer. It is not about finding an answer, but about staying with the question.

You might ask yourself, “Who am I?” and arrive at “Only don’t know.” As you stay with this Big Question, the separation between subject and object begins to disappear.

When your Big Question practice is going in the right direction, whatever you do, you just do it 100%. There is no separation. When you’re cutting the grass, you are cutting the grass, and the cutting of the grass is you.
